When someone describes themself as 'a person of faith' it implies that other people aren't 'people of faith.' The prophet Jeremiah says, 'that's wrong - we're all people of faith - it just depends what you're putting your faith in.' And he goes on to say that what you put your faith in has a profound influence on the kind of life you end up living. Will it be one of fruitfulness, even in the hard times of life, or one that increasingly turns in on itself in self-absorption?
