Going Through the Motions

People say, if God would only reveal himself to me, I'd go to church, I'd follow him. But would they? Would it really change them? It's possible, maybe even common, for people to go through the religious motions. That is, they go to church but it makes zero real difference in their lives - it doesn't change the kind of person they are. Why? And what if that was just as true if you were a religious conservative as if you were a religious liberal? Does it even matter?

This Sunday we're going to look at an event in the life of the prophet Jeremiah that tells us who it is who goes through the religious motions, why they do it, why it matters and how you can not do it.

Join us for our Morning Service at 10:30am and our Evening Service at 6:30pm, at the Foyer Paroissial, St Sulpice.
