How might you respond if, after a lifetime of waiting, you finally get what you've been waiting for?

In our two services this Sunday we're going to be seeing four different responses to just such a happening. And despite the fact that they all respond to the same thing - the birth of the Messiah - they are very different. The question is, how do their responses mirror our own?

In our Morning Service, at 10:30am, we will look at Simeon - a man who had waited years for the Messiah to come, and finally saw him.

In our Evening Service, at 6:30pm, we will enjoy our Christmas Carol Service - and look at the response of the magi, Herod and the religious leaders to the birth of Christ. And of those three, only one group goes away happy. Why?
