Category: ConferenceOn the weekend of Sept 9-11th we are holding an apologetics training and outreach weekend with the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) and Ravi Zaccharias International Ministries (RZIM).
All events will take place at:
Auberge le St Sulpice, Rue du Centre 59, St Sulpice
Friday Night: Apero from 7pm
Talk: "Hollywood: from Transcendence to Terror"
Tom Price (OCCA Teaching Fellow) will give a talk on how Hollywood and film speak to some of our deepest desires. In particular, he will discuss how film addresses the religious.
This Friday night session is particularly aimed at university students and young adults/20s-30s. You are welcome to bring guests.
Saturday Morning: Coffee from 9am
Apologetics training.
Christian Hofreiter(RZIM director for Europe) and Tom Price will provide training on handling difficult questions to do with life and the Christian faith.
This event is open to all.
Saturday Evening: Apero from 7pm
Talk: "If God is so good, why is the world so horrible?"
Christian Hofreiter will talk on this troubling question that we have all asked or been asked.
This event is open to all and guests are very welcome.
